About convert tools
Each image format has strengths. JPG is small and accepted everywhere, which makes it the default for photos. PNG is lossless and supports transparency, so it suits logos, screenshots and files you plan to edit. WebP combines small files with transparency and is built for websites. Converting between them lets you use the right format for each job.
The converters cover the common pairs: JPG to PNG, PNG to JPG, JPG to WebP, PNG to WebP, WebP to JPG and WebP to PNG. HEIC to JPG and HEIC to PNG open iPhone photos anywhere, BMP to JPG and TIFF to JPG shrink large legacy and scanned files, and SVG to PNG turns vector graphics into images that work in documents and on social media.
Every conversion applies the photo's orientation, keeps its color profile and leaves out EXIF data such as GPS location. Transparent areas become white when saving to JPG, and animated files use their first frame. Lossy outputs have a quality slider, and a compare slider lets you check the result first.
