How to compress multiple images at once
Drop up to 20 images onto the page or pick them from your device. Each file can be up to 25 MB. You can remove files from the list or add more until you reach the limit.
Choose the output format: Keep leaves each file in its own format, or convert everything to JPG, WebP or PNG. Then choose a target size per file, from 100 KB to 1 MB, or leave it at None and set a quality level instead. Press Process and download ZIP, and the archive downloads when all files are done.
Settings for common batch jobs
For photos from a phone or camera going into an email or a shared folder, JPG at a 1 MB target keeps them large while cutting the total size. For website images, WebP at 200 KB is a good starting point. For a set of screenshots or icons, PNG keeps them lossless and simply packs them more efficiently.
One setting applies to every file. If a few images need different treatment, compress them separately with the Image Compressor.
What's inside the ZIP
Each compressed image keeps its original name with -compress added before the extension, so files are easy to match. If a file can't be read, for example because it is damaged, the others still process and the ZIP includes an errors.txt file listing what was skipped and why. A note shows the total ZIP size and the overall saving.
Batch size and processing
Every image in a batch is decoded, compressed and packed into the ZIP on the server, so larger batches and bigger photos take longer. If you have more than 20 images, split them into several batches. The files are processed in memory and discarded once the ZIP has been sent back to you.
